Description

The Gibson House Museum is one of Toronto's 10 historic museums!

The home of David Gibson, a Scottish immigrant, it was built in 1851. The museum's namesake was a land surveyor who, having participated in the Upper Canada Rebellion of 1837, subsequently fled the United States upon finding out he was wanted by the government. Returning to the city, they built this home. Georgian-style, it's a must-visit for young and old alike.
